The Arrive AT4848 family of ASICs are highly integrated OC-48/STM-16 or OC12/STM-4 MSADM (Multiservice Add/Drop Multiplexer) systems-on-a-chip. It can be used in Linear or Ring topology SONET/SDH networks. It may also be used as an Ethernet over PDH mapper without SONET/SDH. Following are primary features and characteristics:
