EoPDH

Ethernet over PDH is a standard aimed at allowing the transport of Ethernet frames over existing PDH networks. This allows the vast existing PDH Telecom infrastructure to be leveraged while offering new technology offerings such as Carrier Ethernet services and is also an ideal technology for connecting premises to Metro networks. EoPDH provides an ideal mechanism for the gradual migration of legacy networks to the newer packet based Ethernet future.

Typically, PDH links used can include E1, T1 or DS3 combined with technology such as GFP encapsulation, virtual concatenation (VCAT) with link capacity adjustment (LCAS) and Ethernet mapping.

Arrive Technologies provides all the features necessary for seamless EoPDH solutions with integrated 8FE + 2GE ports (SPI3 expansion capabilities), VCAT/LCA/GFP and support for up to 336 T1 or 252 E1 links in a single, low power device.
